48-52 semester hours with grades of C- or better.  For the purposes of calculating the required 2.00 minimum GPA in any of the four majors offered by the department, the English & Creative Writing Department uses all of the major courses with the ENGL and WRIT prefixes.

Note: A student is required to participate in a senior reading and to produce a senior chapbook in order to graduate with a creative writing major.
